We are the people our parents

warned us about.

The kind that struggles with rent

and keeping up with the bills,

But always seem to have enough money

for drugs and drinks.

.

We are the people who

grew up hating themselves.

The ones who would easily tell you

that they had suffered the most.

There is no more empathy

towards our fellow human beings.

.

We are the people that are

destroying our own faith in humanity.

Creating a world fueled by

hatred and greed.

We have started a need

to fight for power and control.
