There's too much fighting going on,

To the point where all I can hear is arguing,

So much yelling, screaming,

It's driving me insane.

The moment someone slips up,

All eyes turn on them,

And suddenly they are attacked,

With words sharp enough to cut through diamond.

I try to drown out the sounds,

With music, crunching, or thought,

But it penetrates even the loudest noises,

Making it impossible for me to focus.

I don't like the arguing,

It makes me feel insecure,

Like my life might collapse,

And every fight saddens me,

To the point where I go hide.

I don't like the fighting,

I never have,

I never will,

But I'll forever spent my days listening to fights,

Staring out my window sill.
