This is a letter I wrote to the government of Canada asking them to stand with the people of Gaza against Israel’s genocide. Please write your own letter, either in your own words or by using this letter as a template.

Alice Edwards hopes for peace as she finishes her senior year... but instead of focusing on her studies, Alice finds herself caught between two rivaling gangs; The Phantoms, a gang run by her own family and The Ravens- the enemy. The battleground? Summerfield High School. From petty squabbles to full-blown turf wars; Alice must try to make it through high school while trying to stay alive...

Rule Number One of singing the blues...

You must hurt in a soulful way. The way that binds you to another. I was into the blues far before I knew what it meant. Far before you taught me how to listen.

Your blues turned into my own. I did all I could to control it, to tame the way in which your dusk colored eyes peered into mine....

But you were persistent, and all I had so, I made the most out of it. For you. For me. For us..

17 year old Julian Ross has a tendency to do anything his friends want him to. He follows the crowd and has a difficult time making decisions for himself. With an abusive father, a low self confidence, and a lack of money, he starts to find himself starting to hate life. Until he finds a friendship with someone he least expected it.

There are some trigger warning topics mentioned in this story. Drugs, swear words, alcohol, abuse, bullying just to list a few.

I came up with the idea for this story when i was 13, I am 23 now, and decided that I can do it justice by adding more elaboration into my ideas. Back then, the entire story was written on like 3 Word pages, which was a decent amount- but I am a semi-better writer now, or at least I hope.

I am not entirely sure how or where this story will go, but I am bored, and I wanted to dabble around.

The story is in first person, some people hate that, but I am not looking to change the story into third person. Typically when I write I do third person, but I feel like it doesn’t do Julian justice to have the story being told from an outside source.

I have NOT proof read any of this, so I apologize for things that have errors, don’t sound right, or are confusing. Point them out if you see them I guess.

I would appreciate any (and all) feedback anyone would/could leave. I appreciate constructive criticism, the more brutal/honest the better. I am always looking for ways to improve myself as a writer.

Love the day

Why would my parents name me that

when they aren't here to love the day

by my side?

Did they know,

did they know that they weren't going to love the day

but fly away?

It has been ten years of peace for the Union since the end of the great war with the eastern barbarian tribes, yet in the cold north of the Union's land, a new threat is looming. This time, an ambitious Lord is seeking to restore the yore pride of his kin, forcing the weakened Union into yet another unwanted war, as he ramps up the ranks of his army with thieves, murderers and mercenaries.* * *The temperature inside the forge was nearly twice as high as the one outside. A black-haired girl hammered a steel ingot into the shape of a blade. The heat of the steam was draining her stamina away, but her focus remained sharp as her sweat streamed down her face. Hit after hit, for hours, the sound of the hammering steel followed the rhythm of her breathing. Exhausted, she placed the blade into the water and wiped the sweat off her face using a drenched rag.

Why are they screaming?

Vatra dipped the rag back in the water, twisted it, and approached the window. Her mouth opened as her world shattered again into the living nightmare she had wilfully tried to forget. She bit her lips; it wasn’t a dream. The pulse of her heart rose. A cold sweat prickled her back. A mother was running, and a child was screaming. A torrent of smoke was emerging from the roof of her neighbour. Vatra’s eyes blinked. The mother lay on the ground, a spear through her back. A torch circled in the air and landed on the roof of her workshop. In the distance, a man wearing a banner well known to the world…

Fateless is a philosophical medieval dark low fantasy centered on war, militaristic campaigns and geopolitical conflicts between multiple empires. This story follows the fate of Vatra, a former slave from the eastern Nar Empire who was raised in a culture far away from her own, forced into warfare against her will, and the fate of Lanaya, an ambitious half-angel exiled from her home whose existence is seen as heresy. As they wished for peace, both chose a path opposed to one another until their fate crossed. In this story where war dictates the law, love strikes them as a poisoned balm to which they grasp for with all their might, as it is in the darkest of times that the smallest flames may burn the brightest.

I'm going to upload several short stories which I hope to publish as a collection. I'm not sure If I should publish each one separately or have each chapter be a different story. Any suggestions let me know. I'm not sure which is best. Anyway these stories are "literary" fiction, most reedited from my days back in my MFA program. I hope to publish a short story every week or two until I finish the collection. Here is the first. For now I'll call the collection, "Everywhere", and it is the title of this first story. This story is about a man traveling to Medellin, Colombia.

The real-life tale of me after being diagnosed with autism in March 2019.

Since my diagnosis, it's always been my goal to share my experiences and thoughts with others around the world. It's not only informative and educational, but it's also a good creative outlet for me when it comes to letting go of my mind. Autism shouldn't be silenced. Poetry collection for Camp Nanowrimo April 2019!

If there's one thing in life that inspires me, that is the trees I see from outside my bedroom window, in the local parks and whenever I go travelling with my family. Each one having a story to tell. Some hundreds of years old. This April collection will finally open up about my discovery of trees to the world. I hope that you enjoy this collection, as much I as I enjoyed writing it!

The second collection of poetry written in 2019. This one mainly focuses around trying to break down all of the fears and anxiety that we may face each day. I was inspired to do this by writing my memoir The Depression Diaries​​​​​​​, as well as starting therapy sessions for my depression.
